What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Develop sales opportunities targeting specific user segments in the safety equipment market
Provide training and education to authorized distributors on product offerings and sales techniques
Represent the employer at industry meetings, trade associations, and conferences to foster relationships
Prepare and execute sales proposals, contracts, and customer correspondence
Provide technical support and market intelligence to enhance product offerings and improve customer satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
Associate’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
One (1) year of commercial experience with technical products
Five (5) years of sales and/or marketing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
Current, valid Driver’s License
Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Three (3) years of experience in safety or industrial sales
Familiarity with the US Fire Service Industry as a manufacturer representative (direct or agent)
Strong interpersonal selling, negotiation, public speaking, and project leadership skills
Experience with CRM and proficiency in Microsoft & iOS applications
