Senior Home Lending Advisor, Madison Square Garden

Overview Join our team as a Senior Home Lending Advisor in Chase Home Lending. Use your knowledge of home lending products to serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the life of the loan, while the Home Lending team provides support. You will adhere to regulatory requirements while marketing the financial products offered by Chase. This role offers an opportunity to grow your career and make a significant impact on our business.
Responsibilities
Coaches and mentors the branch team by providing training on products and services.
Works with bankers, meets with customers, and introduces new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
Collaborates with the team to create an outstanding customer experience by utilizing marketing and cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other initiatives.
Develops a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations (in footprint territories) and operates within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
Remains the internal and external mortgage expert and maintains good relationships with customers.
Exhibits consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and the customer’s financial needs and goals.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
Knowledge of real estate market in local area
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
FHA/VA sales experience
Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills
Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment
This position is subject to the Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Employment offers are contingent on review of criminal history, credit report, NMLS information, and other information relevant to determining financial responsibility and fitness. Felony convictions within the last seven years may disqualify a candidate. Continued employment is contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd-Frank requirements. This position requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act; upon employment you will be required to register or update your existing registration and to comply with annual renewal.
