The Home Lending team supports you with demonstrated knowledge in this area. As a Senior Home Lending Advisor, you will join a motivated team dedicated to guiding clients to fulfilling the dream of homeownership. Job Responsibilities
Coaches and mentors the branch team by providing training on products and services. Works with bankers, meets with their customers, and introduces new clients to bankers for additional products and services. Collaborates with your team to create an outstanding customer experience by utilizing marketing and outreach efforts including direct mail, media ads, cross-sell programs, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other initiatives. Develops a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations (in footprint territories) and operates within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships. Builds and maintains relationships as the internal and external mortgage expert. Exhibits consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and understanding of the customer’s financial needs, goals, and circumstances. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking Knowledge of real estate market in local area Excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
FHA/VA sales experience Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment Regulatory and Compliance
This position is subject to the Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Employment offers are contingent on review of criminal conviction history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and other information relevant to determining financial responsibility, good character, and fitness for the position. Note that any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration. Continued employment is contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd-Frank Loan Originator requirements. National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 is required.
