Overview
Alpert Schreyer, LLC is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal with 5+ years of litigation-focused personal injury experience to support our trial practice. This position is designed for a paralegal who is comfortable working independently, managing a substantial caseload, and supporting matters in the Maryland District and Circuit Courts. This is not a pre-litigation role. We are looking for a paralegal with hands-on litigation experience who can manage files confidently from suit through resolution and trial preparation.
Responsibilities
Independently manage a large caseload of personal injury litigation files
Support cases pending in the Maryland District and Circuit Courts
Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and correspondence
Coordinate depositions, mediations, expert discovery, and trial preparation
Prepare trial binders, exhibits, witness lists, and litigation timelines
Track and manage court deadlines, scheduling orders, and compliance requirements
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, medical providers, and court personnel
Maintain accurate and organized case management systems and litigation files
Qualifications
5+ years of personal injury paralegal experience , with a strong focus on litigation
Demonstrated ability to
work independently
and manage a
high-volume litigation caseload
Experience with
Maryland District and Circuit Court procedures
Strong drafting, organizational, and case-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office
Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a deadline-driven environment
Compensation Compensation:
$70,000 - $80,000 per year
