The New York State Unified Court System, Appellate Division Second Department is recruiting for one (1) position in the
Appellate Court Clerk Series in Kings County.
The position will be filled in one of the following titles and will be dependent on the experience and qualifications of the applicant selected.
Senior Appellate Court Clerk or Appellate Court Clerk. The successful applicant will be assigned to the Decision Department and will perform court clerical tasks related to the typing and processing of appeal decisions and motion orders and verifying legal citations and references, as well as assist in all areas of the department. Qualifications: Senior Appellate Court Clerk:
Two years of service in any title in the Unified Court System; or A Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college or university; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Base Salary:
$76,112 + $4,920 Location Pay Appellate Court Clerk:
Two years of service in any title in the Unified Court System; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Base Salary:
$64,971 + $4,920 Location Pay Excellent typing skills and knowledge of Word Perfect is required. Applicant must be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time and possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
