What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Develop and execute sales strategies while leading the Regional Sales Managers and Inside Sales team

Conduct market research to identify sales growth opportunities and understand competitive landscapes

Foster high-level relationships with Key Accounts and collaborate with various teams to drive revenue growth

Negotiate and manage high-level contracts for Key Accounts

Educate and mentor sales teams on application and value-based selling of ERICO Surge Products

What is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or applicable experience in technical electrical sales

Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical electrical sales, particularly in surge protection or switchgear

Proven experience leading both outside and inside sales teams

Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time throughout the U.S. and Canada, including overnight trips

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience with surge protection or switchgear sales

Strong value-based selling skills and interpersonal skills for effective customer negotiations

Experience navigating construction project sites

Familiarity with local Agent and distribution market training initiatives
