What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and implement sales strategies while leading Regional Sales Managers and the Inside Sales team
Conduct market research to identify opportunities for sales growth and competitive positioning
Establish and maintain relationships with Key Accounts to drive revenue and customer growth
Negotiate contracts and manage local programs for end users and contractors
Educate and mentor sales teams on value-based selling of electrical solutions
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or applicable experience in technical electrical sales
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical electrical sales, particularly surge protection or switchgear
Proven experience leading inside and outside sales teams
Proficiency in CRM platforms, such as Salesforce, and sales analytics tools
Ability to travel up to 50% across the U.S. and Canada
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with surge protection or switchgear sales
Strong value-based selling and interpersonal skills for customer negotiation
Familiarity with engineering workshops and on-site surveys
Background in negotiating high-level contracts with Key Accounts
Ability to navigate construction project sites
