Overview Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a talented and motivated mid-level

Real Estate Finance Associate

to join their Orange County office. This role is ideal for an associate with 3–6 years of substantive commercial real estate finance experience who is looking to work on sophisticated, high-value transactions within a collaborative and market-leading practice. The position offers meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to work closely with partners on complex real estate finance matters across a diverse range of asset classes.

Responsibilities

Represent and advise lenders on a broad range of commercial real estate finance transactions.

Work with national and regional banks, insurance companies, debt funds, and private equity lenders.

Draft, review, and negotiate construction loan and term loan documentation and related financing materials.

Advise on financings involving a variety of asset classes, including hotels and resorts, industrial and distribution facilities, high-rise office buildings, biomedical research campuses, and healthcare and nursing facilities.

Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues to manage transactions efficiently from inception through closing.

Provide clear, practical, and commercially focused legal advice in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

3–6 years of substantive experience in commercial real estate finance at a leading law firm.

Strong experience representing sophisticated lenders in complex real estate finance transactions.

Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate construction and term loan facilities.

Excellent academic credentials from a top law school.

Exceptional legal writing, organizational, and project management skills.

Proven ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.

Competitive base salary, expected to range from

$260,000 to $390,000 , depending on experience and qualifications.
