
Sales and Trading Operations Support Specialist

InspereX’s Operations team is seeking a highly motivated Operations Analyst to work with our Chicago‑based Operations team. This person will monitor all regulatory trade reporting and resolve discrepancies as well as resolve all trade breaks/fails, etc., with salespeople and traders to ensure timely settlement. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the creation of new accounts, trade entry, and position balancing. The Operations Analyst is a member of the larger Operations team, providing support to the trading desk and sales force.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Entering transactions on a daily basis
Position balancing
Monitoring regulatory trade reporting
Resolving trade breaks / fails
Entering information for new accounts
Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
1‑3 years of financial industry experience strongly preferred
SIE licensing required and Series 7 licensing strongly preferred
Self‑starter and quick learner who can work independently as needed
Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
Must be able to perform well in a fast‑paced and dynamic work environment
Strong communication skills across media types and to all levels
Ability to consistently deliver excellent customer service
Proficiency in Excel
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires long periods of sitting behind a desk, performing tasks on computer.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The majority of the job function is performed in a professional/business casual office setting requiring normal safety precautions.
