Job Summary Ensure Compliance of Import and Export for the various L’Oréal North America legal entities, classify products according to customs codes by checking product specifications, and issue declarations of origin and preferential origin through analytical assessments.
Manage Entries Reconciliations when applicable by calculating values, customs duties, and tax impact, and planning relevant reconciliation submissions.
Perform analysis on imports and exports records to support the preparation of duty drawback applications and to check eligibility for free trade agreements.
Ensure compliant and timely customs clearance by providing brokers with requested data and supporting foreign trade zone operations.
Key Job Accountabilities
Maintain contacts with Customs Border and Protection and various Partner Governmental Agencies to ensure compliant trades and smooth import/export clearances
Monitor customs regulations related to sanctions, embargoes, retaliatory tariffs, changes in tariffs and tax rates
Calculate impact of import value changes and manage the relevant changes
Ensure timely and compliant transactions with CBP and other PGAs
Assess origin and preferential origin of goods
Required Experience / Training
BA/BS in Logistics, or Supply Chain, or Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, or related business field
Customs Brokerage License is a plus
5+ years of experience in trade compliance
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and other Microsoft programs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, business acumen, time management, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with Global Trade Management software (One Source, Cargotrans, Fastweb or similar) is a plus

$90,200 - $128,500 (actual compensation depends on location, experience, education, and skill level)
