Looking for senior
Business Analysts
with
hands-on payments domain expertise , specifically: End-to-end payment processing workflows Host-to-Host (H2H) and SWIFT channels Deep experience with legacy formats such as
IDOC and EDIFACT Strong working knowledge of ISO 20022 and GFF, including mapping and migration work This engagement is expected to run for ~ one year, with an initial need for ~ 3 Bas with deep IDOC expertise, ~2 with EDIFACT, and a small number of additional Bas for other related work. Given the timeline and criticality, I’m only interested in credible profiles that you would confidently put forward for complex payments work. Payments and File Format Expertise
Deep understanding of payment processing workflows, especially H2H and SWIFT. Hands-on experience with legacy formats (IDOC, EDIFACT) as well as ISO 20022 and GFF Ability to interpret and translate complex file specifications and payment instructions.
Technical Analysis and Mapping
Strong analytical skills for field-by-field mapping between client files and internal standard formats. Experience creating and maintaining detailed mapping requirement documents and data dictionaries. Familiarity with structured and hybrid address fields, and compliance requirements (e.g., CBPR+).
Stakeholder Management
Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Technology, and Implementation/Migration teams. Experience gathering requirements from clients and translating them into actionable technical specifications.
Problem Solving and Adaptability
Resourcefulness in working with obsolete or poorly documented formats. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mapping or data translation issues.
Documentation and Communication
Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and stakeholder updates. Experience preparing business and technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
