Social Media Strategist . If you’re passionate about helping brands tell their stories, thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and always have your finger on the pulse of what’s next in social—this role is for you. As a Social Media Strategist at Handcar, you’ll work with iconic brands to develop and execute innovative social media strategies that drive engagement, build brand affinity, and ultimately, deliver results. This role requires strategic vision, strong communication skills, and a passion for both storytelling and community-building. What You’ll Do

Act as the day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients, aligning social strategy with brand goals and marketing calendars. Create and manage monthly social media content calendars across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Write compelling, on-brand copy that connects with audiences and elevates storytelling. Plan and brief creative assets with in-house designers, photographers, and video editors. Cross-Functional Creative Collaboration

Work with internal Handcar Creative Team to brief client photo/video/design needs in accordance with the social strategy and their statement of work. Manage and Engage Communities

Monitor inbound and outbound engagement, responding to comments and DMs with brand-appropriate tone and voice. Foster meaningful brand interactions and help grow each brand's digital community. Track, Report & Optimize

Monitor analytics, prepare monthly reports, and identify actionable insights to improve content performance. Stay ahead of platform trends and integrate new ideas to keep content fresh and engaging. Support Campaigns and Launches

Collaborate with team leads on campaign development, influencer partnerships, giveaways, and product launches. Contribute creative ideas and support high-priority initiatives with thoughtful social execution. What We’re Looking For

3+ years of experience in social media marketing (agency or freelance managing multiple brands preferred) Deep understanding of core platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X) and what performs on each Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to match various brand voices Strong client communication and presentation skills Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working cross-functionally Comfortable presenting ideas, campaign plans, or performance recaps to clients Trend-savvy and always curious about what’s next in social The ideal candidate is comfortable using social media scheduling tools, project management platforms, and other digital tools to streamline workflows, manage content calendars, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with analytics dashboards and social listening tools is a plus. Bonus points for experience in paid social, influencer outreach, or community management Why Handcar?
