Responsibilities
Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring safe operation
Clean and inspect equipment, checking fluid levels and ensuring safety standards
Prepare rental invoices and assist with the return of rental equipment
Qualifications (Required)
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
Willingness to work in a moderately risky environment requiring safety precautions
Availability for ongoing training and education opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in customer service roles, particularly in retail or service industries
Familiarity with equipment maintenance and inspections
Previous experience using technology for inventory management
Certification in handling propane and operating a forklift (training provided)
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
