ABOUT THE ROLE
BRAVE Books is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help keep our marketing engine running smoothly by owning communication, coordination, and follow-through across internal teams and external partners. This role sits at the center of multiple moving parts — authors, partners, internal departments, and marketing leadership — ensuring projects stay aligned, timelines are met, and nothing falls through the cracks.
This is an execution-focused role ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable communicating with a wide range of stakeholders while supporting fast-paced marketing initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a primary point of contact for marketing-related communication with authors, partners, and external organizations
Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and approvals between Marketing and other BRAVE departments
Support campaign launches by managing assets, deadlines, and cross-team communication
Track project statuses and ensure next steps are clearly defined and followed up on
Help prepare briefs, agendas, and summaries for internal and external meeting
Maintain organized documentation, timelines, and communication records
Assist marketing leadership with coordination of partnerships, promotions, and collaborations
Support content approvals, scheduling, and distribution workflows
Identify potential bottlenecks and proactively help resolve them
Ensure brand alignment and professionalism in all outward-facing communication
Provide general operational support to the Marketing team as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of organization and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Professional, clear, and confident communicator with external partners
Self-starter who takes ownership and follows through
Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven organization
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Email)
Alignment with BRAVE Books’ mission and values
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in marketing coordination, project management, or operations
Experience communicating with creators, authors, or external partners
Familiarity with marketing workflows, campaigns, and launch processes
Experience using project management tools (Monday.com or similar tools)
Background in marketing, communications, or business
Experience working in ecommerce or media companies
