Job Mission ASML Wilton is seeking an experienced Sr. EH&S specialist to drive the advancement of a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace by proactively identifying and mitigating risks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring rigorous adherence to all regulatory and corporate standards.

EH&S Responsibilities

Improve and promote an incident‑free workplace by identifying, mitigating risks, and implementing improvements while driving overall safety culture.

Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and develop & assign corrective actions.

Lead compliance audits and guide teams with implementing corrective actions.

Lead risk assessments such as gap analyses and ergonomic assessments to reduce workplace injuries and lower risk.

Lead follow‑up reviews for action items assigned from incidents and risk assessments and assist stakeholders with monitoring the efficacy of corrective actions.

Represent the EH&S Department at internal stakeholder staff meetings, communicating key information such as KPIs, assessment results, and actions associated with incidents.

Review work instructions to ensure risks are adequately controlled and processes are compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements.

Represent the EH&S Department at other key meetings, including cross‑sector meetings and senior leadership meetings.

Be a key stakeholder for advanced troubleshooting and problem‑solving issues arising from internal stakeholder escalations.

Lead and manage EH&S site improvement projects, identify scope project milestones, and develop implementation plans.

Lead GEMBA walks in partnership with operational teams.

Mentor new hires and EH&S specialists as assigned.

Other EH&S responsibilities as needed.

Other Relevant Duties

Data collection and analysis.

Routine internal reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual updates).

Conduct business with the highest ethical standards and demonstrate decision‑making skills that ensure the safety of all persons associated with ASML operations.

Education, Knowledge, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Occupational, Health & Safety or related field is required.

Master’s degree preferred.

8+ years of work experience as an Environmental, Health, and Safety professional is required.

4+ years of experience in manufacturing preferred.

Professional license or certification (ASP, CSP, etc.) preferred.

Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulations.

Advanced applied knowledge of health and safety programs including LOTO, electrical safety, working at heights, hazard communication, confined space, lasers, machine guarding, toxic gases, etc. required.

Abilities and Other Information

Assess and audit workplace environments for potential hazards and effect corrective action.

Interface with other departments and contractors or regulatory agencies effectively.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Work independently and in a team environment.

Prioritize work under dynamic conditions.

Work flexible and/or varied shifts to ensure safety coverage as needed.

Excellent troubleshooting/problem‑solving skills; solutions oriented.

Wear a clean room suit as necessary.

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Climb ladders and/or lift materials (up to 35 lbs.) as necessary.

Additional Responsibilities Potential exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
