Regional Property Manager
to oversee a
growing portfolio of beautiful, conventional multifamily communities
located throughout
Greater Knoxville, TN . This is an exciting opportunity to join a
well-capitalized, stable, and expanding owner-operator
that continues to grow its footprint through acquisition and new development. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes pride in operational excellence, and is passionate about building strong teams and great resident experiences. Key Responsibilities
Oversee the operational performance of a regional portfolio of conventional multifamily communities, ensuring each property meets or exceeds budgeted financial, occupancy, and resident satisfaction goals. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Community Managers and on-site teams, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance. Analyze property performance and implement strategies to drive NOI growth, control expenses, and optimize revenue through effective rent management and marketing initiatives. Partner with maintenance teams to ensure asset preservation, safety, and high-quality curb appeal across all communities. Monitor leasing, renewals, and resident retention efforts to sustain strong occupancy and positive resident relationships. Collaborate with ownership and senior leadership to develop and execute short- and long-term operational strategies that align with company goals. Review financial statements, prepare variance reports, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Support due diligence and onboarding for new acquisitions or development lease-ups within the region. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Qualifications
Minimum of
5+ years of multifamily property management experience , including
regional or multi-site oversight . Proven track record of success managing conventional apartment communities. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate teams across multiple locations. Deep understanding of property operations, budgeting, financial reporting, and performance analysis. Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, or similar).
