Essential Job Functions

A minimum of two years of experience in golf course management and turf cultural practices. Prefer a member of the GCSAA.

Plan, organize, and direct maintenance personnel in all areas of work on the golf course.

Oversee a mechanic regarding the repair/maintenance of all equipment for the facility.

Procure and manage all supplies and materials used in the daily operation of the golf course.

Protect the company’s interests by being aware of and complying with all applicable regulations including course and company policies.

Must be certified and/or licensed for pesticide usage.

Knowledge of irrigation including watering practices, irrigation systems, pumps, wells and automatic controls/drainage.

Train staff on safe operation of golf course equipment and daily care of equipment.

Manage golf course employees including interview, hire, training, and any disciplinary issues as needed.

Control and reduce expenses as necessary. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Salary:

$50,000 - $60,000 / year (based on experience)

Qualifications

Two years of experience in golf course management and turf cultural practices.

Preferred: member of the GCSAA.

Certification and/or licensing for pesticide usage.

Knowledge of irrigation systems, pumps, wells, and automatic controls/drainage.

Ability to train and manage staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and handling disciplinary issues.
