SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadand direct the development,strategy, and execution of all live entertainment and experiential programming for Dolly Parton’sSongTellerHotel.
Serve as the primary talent buyer for the hotel’s entertainment venue, overseeing artist selection, booking, contracting, and negotiations.
Curate and manage a year-round calendar of ticketed and non-ticketed performances that align with brand, audience, and financial goals.
Oversee full show lifecycle management, including advancing, production coordination, technical and hospitality rider fulfillment, and artist settlement.
Book and manage entertainment for multiple venues and activation spaces across the property, including lounges, restaurants, outdoor areas, and special events.
Develop and execute property-wide activations and immersive experiences in collaboration with marketing, food & beverageand guest experience teams.
Manage entertainment and programming budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring fiscal responsibility and profitability.
Establish andmaintainstandard operating procedures for booking, production, and artist relations in a professional performance venue environment.
Lead, mentor, and supervise programming, entertainment, and production staff and external partners.
Act as the primary liaison with artists, agents, managers, promoters, and internal stakeholders.
Uphold and steward theSongTellerHotel brand, ensuring all programming reflects Dolly Parton’sSongTellerHotel’svalues, storytelling, and quality standards.
Monitor guest satisfaction, attendance, and performance metrics to continually refineprogrammingstrategy.
Stay current on live entertainment trends, emerging talent, and best practices in venue operations and hospitality entertainment.

QUALIFICATIONS
8–10+ years of progressive experience in live entertainment programming, talent booking, venue operations, hospitality entertainment, or event production.
Demonstrated advancing, and producing live performances in a professional performance venue or multi-venue environment.
Strong knowledge of artist contracts, technical and hospitality riders, productionlogistics, and settlement processes.
Proven ability to develop and manage entertainment budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
Established relationships with artists, agents, managers, promoters, and industry partners.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating across departments such as marketing, production, food & beverage, and guest experience.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by performance schedules.
Strong communicationand interpersonal skills
Experience supporting pre-opening or launch-phase entertainment and venue operationsis preferred
Passion for storytelling, music culture, and creating meaningful guest experiences.
