Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Property Manager with a strong background managing Homeowners Associations (HOA) and Condominium Owners Associations (COA). This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations, financial oversight, and board relations for a portfolio of residential communities, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and exceptional service to residents and board members.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for HOA and COA boards, homeowners, vendors, and stakeholders
Manage day-to-day operations of assigned communities in accordance with governing documents and state statutes
Prepare and administer annual budgets; monitor expenses, reserves, and financial performance
Coordinate board meetings, annual meetings, and committee meetings; prepare agendas and meeting minutes
Oversee vendor contracts, maintenance projects, capital improvements, and emergency repairs
Enforce community rules and policies consistently and professionally
Review and respond to homeowner inquiries, violations, and requests in a timely manner
Ensure compliance with association bylaws, CC&Rs, and local/state regulations
Collaborate with accounting, legal counsel, and senior management as needed
Qualifications
3+ years of property management experience, specifically with HOA and/or COA communities
Strong knowledge of association governing documents, budgets, and reserve planning
Excellent communication and relationship-management skills
Proven ability to manage multiple communities and priorities effectively
Proficiency with property management software
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Compensation & Benefits The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
