
Overview
Our client, a global nutraceutical organization, is hiring a Sales Coordinator for their Houston site. Serving as a critical member of the sales team, this position will provide operational and administrative support to the sales team to ensure they can acquire and retain business efficiently. This Coordinator will play an essential role in coordinating sales activities, managing documentation flow of information and assisting sales, allowing representatives to concentrate on business development, account management and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Assist the sales team in preparing quotes, tenders and sales proposals
Process and confirm all customer purchase orders
Ensure order details such as codes, pricing, quantities and delivery dates are accurate and entered into the ERP/CRM system
Communication with production and supply teams to confirm product availability, lead times and dispatch schedules
Monitor order status and update sales team of any issues or delays in a timely manner
Maintain and update price lists, product data sheets, sales related documents, and CRM records in the sales database
Support internal reporting and KPI tracking, distributing sales reports, forecast and summaries as requested
Serve as a liaison between sales and other departments to ensure the success of the organization
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales or related field
2+ years of experience in sales coordination or support role, preferably in B2B or health/nutrition industry
Service-oriented mindset focused on supporting sales function
Strong organizational, multitasking, communication and coordination abilities
Attention to detail and able to manage priorities in fast-paced environment
