Construction Estimator

We’re partnered with a well-established General Contractor in the DC / Maryland / Northern Virginia market that is actively hiring a Construction Estimator to support a strong and growing pipeline of work. This role is ideal for an estimator who enjoys being involved early, understands how projects are truly built, and wants a long-term home with a team that values accuracy, collaboration, and accountability. What You’ll Be Doing: Prepare detailed estimates from schematic design through GMP Perform quantity takeoffs and scope reviews Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor bids Work closely with Preconstruction, Project Management, and Operations Assist with budgeting, value engineering, and cost comparisons Support project handoff from preconstruction to operations What They’re Looking For: Background in commercial construction (interiors, multifamily, K-12, healthcare, mixed‑use, etc.) Strong understanding of construction means & methods Comfortable reading drawings and specifications Experience with estimating software (Bluebeam, Excel, OST, Procore, or similar) Detail‑oriented and organized with strong communication skills Why This Role: Consistent backlog and repeat clients in the DMV Collaborative preconstruction team — not siloed Competitive base salary, bonus, and full benefits Location:
