Responsibilities
Lead and motivate sales professionals to meet or exceed sales targets in a specified geographic area
Build and manage relationships with customers and prospects to drive business opportunities
Develop and execute sales strategies in alignment with company objectives and annual business plans
Oversee the hiring, development, and mentoring of sales staff
Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular updates on key opportunities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; MBA or MA preferred or equivalent work experience
Minimum 8 years of Sales Leadership experience and 12 years of overall sales experience in the software or related industry
Proven track record in sales of software solutions and leadership in performance management
Established contacts and relationships with potential customers
Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with sales methodology, sales funnel management, and CRM software, preferably Salesforce.com
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a results-driven, team-oriented environment
Track record of developing talented sales professionals
Experience interfacing with C-level and senior management
