Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven
Director of Continuous Improvement
to lead enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives across multiple locations. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, efficiency, and sustainable performance improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. The position requires
up to 75% travel
to support field operations and leadership teams.
Responsibilities
Develop and lead the organization’s continuous improvement strategy aligned with business objectives
Identify, prioritize, and execute improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency
Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other CI methodologies across operations
Partner with executive leadership and site leaders to drive change management and accountability
Facilitate value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and performance improvement workshops
Establish KPIs, dashboards, and metrics to track progress and ROI of improvement efforts
Coach, mentor, and develop internal CI champions and cross-functional teams
Standardize best practices and ensure sustainability of improvements
Travel extensively to operational sites (up to 75%) to support implementation and training
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
7+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or process optimization
Proven leadership experience driving large-scale improvement initiatives
Strong expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and change management methodologies
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt strongly preferred
Excellent analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills
Ability to influence and lead without direct authority
Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%
