What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Prepare and deliver customized demonstrations of Delinea solutions tailored to client needs
Provide consultative support for pre-sales activities, partners, and customers
Address technical blockers that may impede closing sales opportunities
Manage technical proof-of-concepts (POCs) and identify upsell opportunities
Represent the employer at trade shows and industry events, sharing insights and expertise
What is Required (Qualifications):
5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or a related field with State and Local Government/Education clients
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
Strong presentation and listening skills, with the ability to adapt based on feedback
Understanding of solution sales methodologies and computer/network infrastructure
Experience with MS Windows, MS SQL Server, Active Directory, and knowledge of UNIX/Linux
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Proficiency and/or knowledge of existing employer products
Certifications such as CISSP, MSCE, GIAC, CEH, or ISACA
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
Experience with PowerShell scripting and web services API
Understanding of relevant DevOps technologies and concepts
