The Brand & Content Owner is responsible for
executing and protecting the Lyons Leather Co. brand
across all customer-facing touch points. This role ensures the brand feels cohesive, confident, and unmistakably Lyons Leather Co. — even as content volume increases and the founder steps back. You will work within an established Brand Operating System, translating strategy into consistent, high-quality execution. This is an ownership role, not a social media posting job. Core Responsibilities
Brand Voice & Consistency
Execute and maintain consistent brand voice across: Website Email & SMS Social captions and launch messaging Ensure all copy feels calm, confident, elevated, and human Act as the brand’s quality control — nothing goes live that feels off-brand Product Storytelling
Translate product features into clear, benefit-led storytelling Write and refine PDP copy that: Reduces customer hesitation Avoids fear-based or exclusionary language Protects premium positioning and perceived value Partner closely with the Growth Owner to ensure storytelling supports conversion
without sacrificing AOV or brand integrity Content Planning & Coordination
Own the content calendar across launches, campaigns, and evergreen needs Coordinate photographers, creators, and freelancers as needed Source and curate UGC that aligns with Lyons’ aesthetic and standards Ensure content reflects real-life use, not overly polished or trend-driven visuals Email & Lifecycle Execution
Execute email and SMS campaigns and flows via Klaviyo Maintain restraint in promotional cadence and urgency Ensure lifecycle messaging feels thoughtful, helpful, and on-brand — never salesy or noisy What Success Looks Like
The brand feels consistent and recognizable across all touch points Copy and content decisions no longer require founder approval Customers immediately recognize the Lyons voice and aesthetic Content supports growth without eroding price integrity or brand trust The brand remains calm, confident, and elevated as the business scales Ideal Background
5+ years in brand, content, or copy leadership roles Experience with premium, lifestyle, or design-led brands Strong written voice with excellent taste and restraint Comfortable executing within clear brand systems and guardrails Experience collaborating with growth or performance teams Highly organized and capable of managing multiple content streams Not trend-obsessed; understands longevity over novelty Must be obsessed with our product and brand This Role Is NOT
