Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee reconstruction projects across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires extensive travel and a strong background in construction management, particularly in commercial and multifamily restoration and renovations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of reconstruction projects from inception to completion.
Manage job site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities to ensure project goals are met.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
Review project plans and specifications to ensure proper execution of waterproofing and envelope systems.
Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and reports for stakeholders.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and team members regarding project updates and concerns.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction, preferably with a focus on reconstruction and restoration.
Strong knowledge of waterproofing, envelope systems, and water damage mitigation.
Experience in managing commercial and multifamily construction projects.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Willingness to travel frequently to various job sites as required.
