Job Description and Duties As Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of complex projects to expand California’s access to quality healthcare. Your responsibilities include:

Managing a portfolio of healthcare facility projects independently.

Analyzing and underwriting health financing applications—financial feasibility, market studies, and appraisals—to recommend project viability and risk.

Conducting financial statement analysis, reviewing legal documents, assessing construction plans, and negotiating terms with stakeholders.

Participating in loan closings and coordinating with legal, financial, and construction experts.

Monitoring borrower performance, construction milestones, and compliance with loan terms.

Developing corrective strategies for projects at risk, presenting findings to leadership and stakeholders in written and verbal formats.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in commercial credit analysis and loan underwriting.

Experience in credit risk management and accounting.

Experience in business financial statement analysis.

Knowledge of commercial real estate lending policies and procedures.

Knowledge of the healthcare industry or senior living facilities.

Experience developing reports, communicating with customers, and building client relationships.

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Availability to travel occasionally for business meetings and training.

Experience presenting to small groups.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, and others.

Special Requirements Applicants must meet the Minimum Requirements for both the Associate Management Auditor and Health Facility Construction Financing Specialist classifications. New state employees must take the online examination to establish eligibility.
