Field Sales Representative IV Company: Arrow Electronics (Richardson RFPD, an Arrow Company).

This position is for the Boston/New England market and is fully remote, but candidates must be able to travel to an Arrow office location as requested.

Job Description Richardson RFPD is looking for an experienced Field Sales Representative IV for our Boston/New England market. Richardson RFPD, an Arrow Company, is a specialized electronic component distributor providing design engineers with deep technical expertise and localized global design support for the latest new products from the world’s leading suppliers of RF, Wireless, IoT and Power Technologies.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibility is to build and maintain influential relationships with customers, suppliers and Arrow partners, creating demand for Arrow products by proactively offering engineering and supply chain solutions. Key areas of responsibility are:

Demand Creation and Relationship Management: Focused on the technical needs of complex, emerging, or underpenetrated prospects. Has a fundamental understanding of all Arrow’s solutions and is able to match those solutions to customer business needs. Drives new opportunities and product selection within accounts, creates demand activity using technical resources. Drives supplier and customer engineering relationships at multiple levels, utilizes distribution/rep/supplier knowledge to grow market share and sales, builds strong relationships with suppliers and their reps.

Account Management: Initiate and schedule regular visits to the customer facility selling Arrow’s franchised lines and services. Create selling opportunities through a planned discovery process. Gains solid understanding of customer needs and translates those needs to Arrow requirements or opportunities. Executes solution selling through knowledge of Arrow’s supply chain solutions and design processes. Grows profit and maximizes margins by selling value‑added, long‑term solutions, emphasizing demand creation and engineering.

Relationships: Keeps current on product knowledge and/or gains technical certifications. Attends supplier training events to stay up‑to‑date on product lines. Maintains supplier databases and keeps design registration information accurate. Stays updated on current related technologies in the customer base, and attends training as needed. This job profile requires the assignment and participation in a sales compensation plan. A portion of OTE will be variable and tied to specific sales‑related goals as set forth by Arrow (70/30 split).

Qualifications

Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a 4‑year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.

Work Arrangement Fully Remote in Boston or New England territory. Must be able to travel to an Arrow office location as requested by Arrow leadership.

Compensation Annual Hiring Range: $115,800.00 - $235,719.00 (Actual compensation offer may vary based on location, experience, education, and skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive, if applicable, will be finalized at offer.)

Location US‑MA‑Massachusetts (Remote Employees). Remote work employees may be required to be present at the closest designated Arrow office for work‑related purposes, at the Company’s request and sole discretion.
