
We are seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Contract
Executive Recruiter
to lead the search strategy for executive-level hires for our electric utility client. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, identifying top-tier talent and building a robust pipeline of future leaders to ensure long-term organizational success. Position Overview

Must reside in
Pennsylvania (PA), New Jersey (NJ), or Ohio (OH) . Key Responsibilities
Executive Search Leadership:
Own the full lifecycle of executive recruiting (VP and above), including sourcing, engagement, assessment, and offer negotiation. Succession Planning:
Partner with HR leadership to identify gaps and proactively build external talent pipelines. Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with senior executives to define leadership profiles and ensure a high-touch candidate experience. Market Intelligence:
Provide insights on industry trends, talent landscapes, and compensation benchmarks. Pipeline Development:
Cultivate relationships with passive candidates aligned with our strategic direction. Process Excellence:
Maintain a confidential, equitable, and consistent search process reflecting our commitment to diversity and inclusion. Vendor Management:
Oversee relationships with external search firms when necessary to ensure alignment with internal standards. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. Experience:
Minimum of 7 years in executive recruiting (in-house or retained search firm). Proven Track Record:
Success in sourcing and placing senior leaders within complex, matrixed organizations. Stakeholder Management:
Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and advise senior-level executives. Communication:
Exceptional relationship-building skills. Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with executive compensation structures, negotiation strategies, and succession planning. Integrity:
A high level of discretion and professionalism is essential. Preferred Attributes
Experience recruiting within the
energy, utilities, or infrastructure
sectors. Exposure to organizational transformation or strategic workforce planning. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
