Experienced Immigration Paralegal – Riverton, UT
Responsibilities
Draft detailed and persuasive recommendation letters, petition support letters, and other writing-heavy materials for submission to USCIS and other government agencies, particularly as it relates to EB-1A Extraordinary Ability and EB-2 National Interest Waiver petitions and Requests for Evidence
Organize and assemble complete immigration petition packages, including government forms, legal arguments, and supporting exhibits, for attorney review and signature.
Submit finalized immigration petitions to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and track filing statuses.
Collaborate closely with attorney to manage timelines, respond to client inquiries, and ensure all deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
Conduct research on case-specific issues, government policies, and procedural changes as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
Excellent writing, research, logical reasoning, and editing skills, as well as meticulous attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and team members.
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Must have experience with employment-based immigration matters, including EB-1A and EB-2 NIW petitions.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in a field requiring strong research, writing, and analytical skills (e.g., Political Science/International Relations, English/Literature, Journalism/Communications, History/Philosophy).
Comparable professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Benefits
Salary: $45,000 - 65,000 DOE.
PTO and paid holidays.
Hybrid work schedule (Mondays and Fridays work from home; Tuesdays-Thursdays in office)
