What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Write, edit, and format persuasive fundraising proposals and grant applications that reflect the employer's impact and funding priorities
Collaborate with faculty researchers, gift officers, and institutional leaders to align content with strategic campaign goals
Manage projects from intake to delivery, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand standards
Partner with frontline fundraisers to create donor-centered materials
Organize and synthesize complex information for diverse audiences, including individuals and corporations
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum of four years of experience in fundraising, non-profit, government agency, marketing, advertising, public relations, law, healthcare, or a related industry
Exceptional writing, editing, and strategic communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Collaborative mindset with confidence to engage with scientists, clinicians, and senior leaders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in proposal writing or development communications
Passion for mission-driven storytelling and philanthropy
Knowledge of evolving trends in philanthropy communication
Ability to maintain awareness of institutional priorities and donor interests
Experience in managing feedback loops across multiple stakeholders
