The Sales Account Executive – Commercial HVAC is responsible for driving technical sales and delivering customized HVAC solutions to commercial and industrial clients. This role blends consultative sales, engineering knowledge, and relationship management to develop new business, expand existing accounts, and manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through project closeout. Orlando, FL Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Execution: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within commercial and industrial HVAC markets; Manage and grow a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities; Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers while developing new accounts; Deliver presentations to decision-makers showcasing technical solutions and company capabilities; Negotiate pricing, scope, and timelines to close profitable projects; Track sales activity, pipeline metrics, and performance reporting. Technical & Pre-Sales Support: Evaluate customer needs and design customized HVAC solutions; Conduct site walks, surveys, and system assessments; Prepare and present proposals, technical drawings, and cost estimates; Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings; Collaborate with engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure solution accuracy and feasibility. Project Collaboration & Market Awareness: Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless project handoff; Stay current on HVAC technologies, controls, energy solutions, and local building codes; Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape. Qualifications & Experience

5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC sales, estimating, or engineering Proven ability to manage a book of business and consistently close commercial projects Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical principles Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings (expert level not required) Experience managing pipelines of $3M–$6M+ with annual closed revenue of $2M+ preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD or estimating software strongly preferred Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or related field preferred (not required for highly experienced candidates) Top Must-Have Qualifications

Experience managing a book of business of at least $2M Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documentation Background in commercial HVAC, mechanical services, or adjacent technical sales industries Note: Fire alarm, building systems, mechanical, or construction sales backgrounds are also highly relevant.
