
Customer Service Representative

Our client is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for a manufacturing company local to Charlotte NC. The CSR plays a critical role in supporting customers, coordinating order activity, and ensuring smooth communication across internal teams. This position requires a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional with strong organizational abilities and a solid understanding of production workflows and supply chain operations. This role is fully on site, Monday through Friday 8-5.
This job will have the following responsibilities: Handle customer inquiries
via phone, email, and in-person communication. Process and enter orders , returns, credits, and related documentation. Coordinate with internal teams
to ensure timely order fulfillment and issue resolution. Verify order accuracy
and maintain correct pricing, part numbers, and customer details. Monitor open and duplicate orders , correct discrepancies, and update customers. Prepare freight claims
and obtain domestic/international shipping quotes. Maintain updated product literature and pricing
on shared systems. Prepare export documents
such as Proforma invoices and insurance certificates. Support administrative tasks
and maintain organized customer service files. Recommend alternative products or solutions
when appropriate. Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. 4-6 years of customer service experience , preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Apply practical judgment to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions. Resolve issues involving multiple variables within standardized processes.
