Director of Grants and Accounting

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Director of Grants and Accounting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $131,000 to $162,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the accuracy of all financial documents, reports, cash management, cash flow, month-end closing journal entries, and grants fiscal reporting.
Develop and maintain relationships with bankers, funders, internal team, and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with the controller to prepare monthly financial statements, including grant/financial reports for the leadership team, program directors, and managers.
Supervise the controller who oversees the accounting team.
Provides direct supervision, evaluation and discipline for the Accounting Department.
Serve as the primary liaison for the annual audits.
Maintain proper internal documentation, including policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
8-10 years of relevant experience in grants management, accounting, or finance.
Strong working knowledge GAAP and GAAS
Proficient with MS Office Suite, and accounting software's and tools
Experience :
Demonstrated experience in grant project management.
5+ years of of supervisory/management experience
Strong analytical and negotiating abilities.
