Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $115,000 to $130,000 per year.
Job Description:
Schedule, manage and coordinate the monthly/quarterly/annual close and SEC filing process Supervise, direct, and review the work of accounting staff Review and supervise the preparation and processing of payroll and the processing of accounts payable Assist Controller with the preparation of external financial statement and SOX review and audits Assist Controller with the management of general administrative functions
Requirements:
Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to listen effectively and present accounting information to various levels Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple, cross-functional areas in a collaborative, team environment Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database tools
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
