Summary:
AgReserves, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and disciplined
Tax and Corporate Compliance Specialist
to provide advanced administrative support to the Tax, Compliance, Treasury, and Risk Management Teams. The Specialist will assist with compliance filings and tax-related projects and plays a critical role in the coordination of insurance for the company including Farmland Reserve, Inc and other legal entities. Responsibilities: Assist with routine tax, compliance, treasury, and risk management tasks as well as filings of personal property tax and real property tax. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure information contained in InfoGuide is current and in compliance by the required due dates for international locations. Research and assist in preparing presentations.Document and file meeting minutes. Update corporate structure chart with all current and accurate information. Responsible for document record retention and ensuring data integrity within the electronic filing system. Assist in tracking and managing annual reporting with Secretaries of State for all ARI, FRI, and other legal entities. Coordinate with outside legal counsel on various reporting needs. Assist in management of general liability, auto and property insurance claims. Serve as the internal contact on insurance related questions as well as liaison to insurance consults and outside vendors. Proactively manage insurance coverage renewals and coordinate issuance of certifications/cards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Associate's degree in a relevant field or Paralegal certificate and applied experience. Years of equivalent experience in lieu of education accepted. 5+ years of recent professional experience in a comparable role. Notary Certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire. Advanced technical writing and computer skills. Strong demonstrated interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
