Position Overview As a Personal Assistant at Thesalonhype, you will be responsible for providing administrative and organizational support to the salon owner and other senior staff members. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the salon, as well as maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the salon owner's calendar and schedule appointments, meetings, and events
Coordinate and communicate with clients to schedule appointments and manage their bookings
Greet and assist clients, ensuring they have a positive experience at the salon
Handle phone and email inquiries, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues or concerns
Maintain and update client records and databases
Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
Handle financial tasks such as invoicing, billing, and processing payments
Conduct market research and assist with marketing and promotional activities
Assist with social media management and content creation
Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
Act as a liaison between the salon owner and staff, relaying messages and requests as needed
Provide support to other staff members as required
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or a related field is preferred
Prior experience as a personal assistant or in a similar role is an asset
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing is a plus
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Professional and friendly demeanor
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
