
We are seeking an experienced
Human Resources Specialist
to support a variety of HR functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, workers' compensation, and policy compliance. This role is key in fostering a productive, positive, and compliant workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate onboarding, background checks, drug testing, and credentialing.
Assist with benefits administration (health insurance, retirement plans).
Process and manage workers’ compensation claims and case documentation.
Communicate with employees, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of HR data.
Support enforcement of HR policies and handle employee inquiries.
Submit reports to regulatory agencies and ensure legal compliance.
Provide reception coverage and assist with executive support as needed.
Promote positive employee relations and workplace culture.
Qualifications
Experience in HR generalist or similar role required.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Monday–Friday, standard business hours.
Office-based role with interaction across departments and external vendors.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods.
Regular computer and phone use.
Occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs.
Walk short distances within the office as needed.
Pay: $65K to $70K
