In this essential leadership role, you will work closely with strategists, designers, and researchers to create seamless end-to-end customer experiences and drive our strategic direction. As the advocate for both customers and users, you will spearhead innovation by harnessing actionable user insights to enhance product usability. Your communication skills will be vital in articulating your vision, guiding critical decisions across the organization. The Senior Principal User Experience Leader will oversee strategic UX activities aimed at aligning customer and associate experiences, addressing key challenges across various domains. You will adapt your leadership style to serve as a strategist, service designer, information architect, creative director, or project team lead as needed. You will operate autonomously, while actively seeking insights and opportunities to establish consistency and standards across projects. Providing support to 4-6 product teams within a designated customer and associate experience segment, you may also oversee a team of 2-5 individual contributors. This role typically reports to the Technology Director or Sr. Director. Key Responsibilities: Delivery & Execution (35%)

- Ensure high standards for deliverables across domains; lead synthesis and facilitation activities; create strategic UX artifacts such as experience maps and service blueprints.

People Development (20%)

- Mentor and cultivate the next generation of UX leaders; strategically align resources based on team needs; attract and maintain top UX talent.

Strategy & Planning (45%)

- Collaborate with stakeholders including Product and Development teams; lead the UX practice across domains; merge user research with organizational goals to articulate a compelling vision and ensure collaborative delivery of holistic customer experiences.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports: This position typically reports to the Technology Director or Sr. Director.

Directly oversees 2-5 individual contributors or principals.

Travel Requirements: Typically requires minimal overnight travel (less than 10%).

Physical Requirements: Most work is performed sitting comfortably, with frequent opportunities for movement and occasional light lifting.

Working Conditions: Work environment is comfortable and indoor, featuring infrequent and non-disruptive conditions.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older.

Must legally be permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications: 8+ years' experience working with agile software development teams.

Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Minimum Years of Work Experience: 10 years in a related field.
