Traveling Superintendent
to our team. The Role
As a Traveling Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing projects in the field from
site mobilization through closeout , ensuring schedules, quality, and safety standards are met while representing the company and its brand partners professionally. Key Responsibilities
Oversee
ground-up and renovation
projects in retail, grocery, and restaurant sectors Manage day-to-day
on-site construction activities
and subcontractor coordination Maintain project schedules and drive milestones to meet aggressive timelines Enforce
safety, quality, and company standards
on all job sites Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and project closeout Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, inspectors, and vendors Travel to project locations across Illinois and nearby states (per diem provided) Qualifications
Proven experience as a
Superintendent
with a General Contractor Strong background in
retail, grocery, restaurant, big-box, or fast-food construction Experience managing
fast-track, multi-site, or repeat-client projects Ability to travel consistently for project assignments Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills OSHA certification preferred Salary:
$100,000 – $120,000 (based on experience) Per Diem provided
