What you will do - Essential Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers from the initial sale or appraisal through to test drives and financing applications. Conduct vehicle condition assessments to communicate valuable information to Buyers for customer appraisals. Check in and receive vehicles shipped to CarMax, ensuring accurate daily scanning and reconciliation of inventory. Perform cosmetic inspections to guarantee that all vehicles meet CarMax Quality Standards. Handle various administrative tasks including maintaining transaction paperwork, liaising with finance companies, and managing cash and payment processes. Create service appointments and review repair order invoices for accuracy in billing. Purpose of the role This position exists in a high-energy retail sales environment where teamwork is crucial. You'll engage with diverse customer interactions, so the ability to quickly connect with people and understand their needs is vital. You'll tackle a wide range of tasks, including vehicle sales, processing sales paperwork, and managing repair orders—all with limited supervision. We prioritize collaboration and growth, providing opportunities for team members to aspire toward leadership roles. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you must fulfill each critical duty. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in sales and customer service, preferably in retail. Valid Driver's License. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
