What You Will Do - Essential Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by guiding customers through the entire process, from sales and appraisals to test drives and financing applications. Conduct vehicle condition assessments by collecting, recording, and communicating vital information for customer appraisals. Oversee the check-in process for vehicles arriving at CarMax, ensuring accurate daily scanning and reconciliation of inventory. Perform cosmetic inspections, ensuring that all vehicles comply with CarMax Quality Standards. Handle various administrative tasks, including maintaining transaction paperwork, contacting finance companies, and managing auditing processes. Schedule service appointments and ensure accurate invoices for retail service work performed. Purpose of the Role This dynamic retail sales environment will require you to work as a team to meet performance goals while managing diverse customer interactions. Your ability to quickly connect with customers and understand their needs is essential for success. You will manage a variety of tasks with minimal supervision, including vehicle sales, processing paperwork, conducting appraisals, and managing repair orders. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred experience in sales and customer service, especially in retail. Valid Driver's License. Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
