As a Sales and Customer Experience Specialist, you will be integral in providing an unforgettable experience for our customers throughout their CarMax journey. Your role will involve guiding customers with enthusiasm and support during every phase of buying and selling cars, ensuring that the process is simple and seamless. Through effective communication and collaboration with various teams, you will contribute to maintaining our reputation for honesty and transparency, which is key to our success.
What you will do - Essential Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers at every stage, from sales and vehicle appraisals to test drives and financing arrangements.
Conduct thorough vehicle condition assessments and relay critical information to buyers for accurate appraisals.
Receive and check in vehicles shipped to CarMax; ensure daily scanning and inventory reconciliation is completed.
Perform cosmetic inspections to guarantee all vehicles meet CarMax Quality Standards.
Handle various administrative tasks, including printing daily reports, maintaining transaction paperwork, coordinating with finance companies on customer contracts, and managing cash and payment processes.
Schedule service appointments and review repair invoices for accuracy regarding any retail service work performed.
Purpose of the role
This role is set in a dynamic retail sales environment where teamwork is essential to meet goals and handle diverse customer interactions. Your ability to quickly connect with the customers and assess their needs is crucial. You will manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision, from vehicle sales and paperwork processing to conducting vehicle assessments and overseeing repair orders. Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred experience in sales and customer service within retail.
A valid Driver's License.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
