About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to work in close collaboration with the Board of Directors and lead the organization in its mission to enhance educational opportunities and the quality of life for children and young adults with disabilities and their families. The successful candidate will be a passionate and empathetic champion for the mission, a visionary and strategic leader, and a change champion with an entrepreneurial mindset. Responsibilities include guiding the implementation of the strategic plan, building and leading diverse teams, and fostering strong partnerships across all sectors. The Executive Director will also be responsible for financial sustainability, including identifying new revenue sources, and will serve as the primary spokesperson and advocate for the organization.
The ideal Executive Director will have a proven track record in organizational leadership, be a high-impact communicator, and have experience in fundraising and revenue development. They should be adept at external relations, including advocacy and partnership with community, educational, and governmental organizations. The role requires a leader who is financially astute, committed to diversity, and capable of leading the organization through strategic change to meet the evolving needs of the community. The Executive Director will also be responsible for administration, finance, and operational leadership, ensuring the long-term financial health and sustainability of the organization.
