This position is ideal for a results-driven, clinically skilled nurse leader with a proven background in psychiatric services and a passion for advancing behavioral health care standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational and clinical leadership for psychiatric nursing units
- Collaborate with senior leadership to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation requirements
- Promote staff development, engagement, and clinical excellence
- Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and resource allocation effectively
- Serve as a role model and advocate for professional nursing practice
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Massachusetts (or eligibility)
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Masters in Nursing or related healthcare field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of psychiatric nursing experience in an acute hospital setting (required)
- At least 2 years of progressive leadership experience as a Manager or Director in a hospital environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
