Lead Residential Carpenter (Framing to Finish)
About the Role
We are looking for two experienced Residential Carpenters to join our team for a mix of high-end remodels and custom new construction. We don't do "cookie-cutter"—we do quality. We need someone who can jump from a framing crew on Monday to installing custom crown molding or setting high-performance windows on Thursday. If you are a builder who takes pride in a plumb wall and a tight miter, we want to talk to you.
Key Responsibilities
Framing: Complete layout, floor systems, wall framing, and roof rafter/truss installation. Exterior Envelope: Professional installation of windows, exterior doors, and various siding types (Hardie, cedar, metal panels). Interior Finish: High-end trim work, base/casing, built-ins, and interior door hanging. Problem Solving: Read blueprints and navigate the "surprises" that come with complex residential remodels. Site Leadership: Maintain a clean, safe workspace and mentor junior laborers when necessary.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ Years Experience: Proven track record in residential carpentry (Framing, Siding, and Trim). The Right Tools: Must have your own professional-grade hand tools and basic cordless setup. Technical Proficiency: Ability to read plans, use a transit/laser level, and operate all standard shop and site power tools. Reliability: A valid driver's license and a truck/van capable of transporting basic gear.
Why Work With Us?
Top-Tier Equipment: We provide the heavy stuff—trailers, table saws, miter stands, and scaffolding. Consistent Work: We have a 12-month backlog of high-end residential projects. Growth: We prefer to promote from within for Site Supervisor roles. The Perks: [Insert specific perks like: 4-day work weeks, tool allowance, health insurance, or paid holidays].
