
Overview
As a Search Marketing Manager at adidas your role is to drive organic traffic to adidas US eCom through SEO initiatives. You work with internal and external partners to leverage the power of the adidas brand to grow organic traffic through the support of promotional and go-to-market initiatives. The SEO and paid search teams are growth engines for one of adidas.com’s largest acquisition channels, and this role will be key to integrating all facets of SEO (technical, on-site, GTM, offsite, editorial) to help meet/exceed KPI targets and increase efficiency and ROI on our traffic generation initiatives.
Responsibilities
Support full-funnel traffic generation initiatives by coordinating SEO workstreams; managing projects from concept development to final delivery
Hands-on support of go-to-market and promotional campaigns from a data-driven SEO perspective
Support agency partner relationships with a focus on measuring impact and documenting ROI
Ensure SEO deliverables and output are meeting expectations
Ownership of reporting covering traffic generation, partnership marketing, and PR outreach
Reports can include: link acquisition, conversion and traffic lift from links, impact of content efforts to larger brand initiatives outside of traditional KPI’s.
Leverage reporting and data insights to optimize the program by adjusting agency and team efforts
Support SEO teammates with page optimization experiments, and A/B testing
Identify and build business cases to explore new opportunities and support SEO objectives
Active collaboration with Global SEO and market leads; including participation in seasonal planning, cross-functional initiatives, regular alignment meetings, sharing best practices, and culture building
Educate and build allies in market for your functional area of SEO and SEO holistically by communicating the impact of your actions on business objectives
Leverage data and team insights to build presentations
Regular participation in seasonal Digital Planning calendar workshops

Experience in leading a team is a plus
Strong communication & negotiation skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely.

Ability to efficiently work in a cross-functional organization, ability to develop influential and collaborative relationships with stakeholders from digital and non-digital disciplines on all levels.
Creative and energetic team player who has a passion for traffic generation
Extensive experience with content marketing – strategy, production, outreach
Extensive experience with traffic analytics tools
Extensive experience with SEO tools: keyword tracking, keyword research, domain analysis, crawl and log analysis
Extensive experience with reporting tools
Very good project and account management skills
Fluent English, both verbally and written
Minimum Qualifications
4-7+ years of digital marketing experience in organic traffic generation, paid media, or content marketing in-house or at a leading traffic agency.
Proficiency with some or all of these SEO tools/platforms: Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Nightwatch, Moz/Stat, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog SEO Spider, Adobe and Google Analytics
