Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Travel Construction Superintendent to oversee multiple retail and commercial construction projects across the Minneapolis area and surrounding markets. This is a hands-on, travel-intensive role focused on field leadership, subcontractor coordination, and schedule execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, decisive, and experienced in fast-paced retail and commercial construction environments. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily on-site construction activities for retail and commercial projects, ensuring work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and site personnel to maintain productivity and schedule adherence. Enforce all safety programs, site policies, and regulatory requirements. Track job progress, complete daily reports, and communicate schedule and field updates to project management and ownership. Identify and resolve field issues quickly, providing practical solutions to keep projects on schedule. Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, clients, and stakeholders to meet project expectations. Travel frequently between job sites within Minneapolis and surrounding areas as required. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent within retail and or commercial construction. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in active environments. Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, inspections, and safety regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel consistently and adapt to varying job site conditions. Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or similar platforms.
