Responsibilities
Asset Protection: Possesses knowledge of asset protection policies, practices and guidelines, environmental health and safety laws and regulations; supports facility security staff; monitors and maintains access control equipment.
Employee Health and Safety: Possesses knowledge of OSHA guidelines, compliance safety and food safety auditing processes, regulatory inspection processes, emergency evacuations plans; conducts safety and food safety audits and creates audit reports; maintains emergency contact information; summons emergency services as necessary; analyzes and reports safety-related claims; supports workers’ compensation processes.
Partnership and Collaboration: Knowledge of stakeholder identification, engagement techniques, and management; owns delivery of project activity; supports processupdates; solves simple business issues; demonstrates functional knowledge of the supported business unit/organization.
Data and Digital Literacy: Knowledge of data collection methods and tools, digital applications and systems; gathers, interprets and reports data; leverages technology to perform transactional activities; reviews data across systems for completeness and quality; suggests automation opportunities.
EHS Training Delivery: Knowledge of training methodologies and content development; supports training programs; solicits participant feedback; utilizes training lifecycles; maintains repositories of benchmarks and best practices; explains processes to contractors.
Influential Communication: Knowledge of verbal and nonverbal communication, stakeholder engagement, and situation-appropriate communication channels; organizes and communicates clearly; uses data to inform recommendations; actively listens and builds professional networks.
Process Improvement: Supports implementation of process improvement strategies; understands key processes; identifies gaps; participates in investigations and root-cause analysis; may lead investigations under supervision.
Environmental Protection: Knowledge of environmental policies and applicable laws; supports regulatory compliance; implements Walmart environmental policies; promotes environmental issues within the organization.
Operational Excellence: Understands organizational processes, SOPs, and OBW; explains operational functions; identifies interdependencies; locates SOP/OBW information; lists common tasks and activities.

The hourly wage range for this position is $22.00 - $25.50. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
Minimum Qualifications 6 months experience as a Walmart associate OR 1 year of work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security-related field (e.g., Military, Public Safety, Compliance, Criminal Justice).
Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Office Suite; SharePoint and OneDrive; work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security-related field.
