Overview
Medical Sales Representative – Obstructive Sleep Apnea Therapy. We are seeking a
results-driven Medical Sales Representative
to promote
oral appliance therapy for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) , a proven alternative for CPAP-intolerant patients. This role focuses on building and growing physician referral relationships and expanding a defined territory. This position is ideal for candidates with
pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare sales experience
who are comfortable calling on physicians and meeting performance goals.
Responsibilities
Meet or exceed monthly sales and referral goals
Build, maintain, and grow referral relationships with physicians and office staff
Develop new referral sources within the territory
Educate providers on oral appliance therapy as an effective CPAP alternative
Conduct in-office meetings, lunch-and-learns, and educational presentations
Plan and execute weekly territory outreach strategies
Track referrals, activity, and outcomes accurately
Distribute educational and marketing materials
Travel throughout Lafayette, surrounding parishes, and Lake Charles
Qualifications
Minimum
1 year of sales experience
(medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sales strongly preferred)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Comfortable calling on and educating physicians and key clinical decision-makers
Strong organization, follow-up, and territory management skills
Professional, self-motivated, and results-focused
Willing to learn and stay current on obstructive sleep apnea and treatment options
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Compensation
Base salary $45,000–$65,000 per year, depending on experience
Commission-based earning potential
Mileage reimbursement
